I think that Paul was the first to finish, and he is not yet having such a good season as last year.
Our new player Slava was doing well enough but eventually put his queen en prise, hopefully he can play a lot more for us and get in some more practice.
Steve claimed he was also doing quite well, but his choice of a queen exchange was not apparently a wise one.
Julians game appeared to be pretty level and his draw offer was soon accepted.
My opponent attacked my knight by putting a bishop on g4. However I spotted that this allowed me to play a queen check, followed by picking up a loose knight. Despite this, he played on a piece down and made me work for my win.
Ray was last to finish, but though a pawn ahead, was shorter in time and with a poor position. He actually lost formally on time. Ray is having a dreadful season so far , but these runs do occur and hopefully he will pick up soon.
In summary not a good night for the team, still looking for a first win
