Fragmentary reports from the players as follows
My game against Mat Rose who i had played about 35 years ago!!Was always quite level i offered a draw which he turned down (being 34 points higher graded). He tried to open up the game but it lost a pawn but he had a bishop against my knight,so Ii had to get my king to the corner and he could not win. He tried to blitz me but i had more time than him. So very enjoyable draw.

Our points came from Peter with a second successive win on board 4, Simon with a second successive draw on board 6, and Andy whose game on board 1 ended with a frantic time scramble.

My game kept me occupied so I saw little or nothing of the other games. Against Jason McKenna's rather eccentric KID I sacrificed a pawn on e6 and obtained a lasting initiative but later I didn't play accurately enough allowing him to extricate his inactive queenside pieces after which he finished me off efficiently.

In my still somewhat jet-lagged state I can't recall any details of Mirka's game.  Martin told me he was 2 pawns ahead at one point but taking the second one may have been a mistake as it left his pieces badly placed and his opponent was able to capitalise on this.
